The Openup website is designed to help Small to Medium Enterprise (SME) managers understand and use IT and eBusiness to improve competitiveness and grow sales. The site aims to achieve this by giving jargon-free, independent advice on a broad range of relevant topics such as:

  • Finding the right IT supplier.
  • The tax implications of trading online.
  • The experience of other companies when they implemented eBusiness/ICT projects.

It includes: How to guides to help with such decisions; case studies about companies which have addressed similar issues; key guidelines for managing IT; a database of solution providers; an online ebusiness self-assessment tool and other resources.
